Dear readers,
We had a great time discussing Enter Ghost, and during that meeting an official Whatsapp group for EY has been created!
It’s a place where I can easily share info about the book club, but also a place of discussion for when you can’t join a meeting but would still like to read along and talk about the book!
If you want me to add you to this group, send me an email with your phone number, or DM me on Instagram at @astoryofsorts.
Our next meet up is in about five weeks, and it is time to reveal our book club pick!
It’s Holy Week in the small town of Las Penas, New Mexico, and thirty-three-year-old unemployed Amadeo Padilla has been given the part of Jesus in the Good Friday procession. He is preparing feverishly for this role when his fifteen-year-old daughter Angel shows up pregnant on his doorstep and disrupts his plans for personal redemption. With weeks to go until her due date, tough, ebullient Angel has fled her mother’s house, setting her life on a startling new path.

We will be reading The Five Wounds, by Kirstin Valdez Quade.
The meeting is on the 23rd of July, at 7pm in the Fenix Food Factory!*
Don't forget to save your seat with us.
To reserve a seat or order a copy of the book (in English or Dutch) you can reply to this newsletter, send an email to info@boschendejong.nl, or call/send a message to 0628700281.
These meetings are free; if you have any to spare please donate to one of the organisations in this link in support of Palestine. Thank you!
Don’t forget that you can join the book club on Storygraph and add your questions for the book club there!
See you all very soon!
